ESTATE

Haapman Estate is Finland's first commercial winery where Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay and Riesling grow.

We make luxury noble rot dessert wines and Red vintages.

In the fall of 2023, we made the first Cabernet Sauvignon vintage in the Nordic countries, the grapes of which have grown on our own estate.

We are proud of our achievement and making history.

The owner of the winery, Herman Haapman, took the initiative for Finland to join the European wine-producing country in 2022, and now the matter is on the government's agenda. Finland will become Europe's wine country after 2028.

Our winery consists of a 10,000m2 greenhouse complex, where we get Italian heat for six months. The cool nights of autumn diversify the wonderful layers in our wine.

The Finnish summer sun shines 20 hours a day, bringing more light into the growing season than anywhere else.

We also grow grapes outdoors, but the greenhouses are reserved for the finest varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The first crop to be sold to the general public will grow in the summer of 2024 and will be available for purchase in 2026. Now available for reservation for passionate collectors.
